North American Expansion Program
Phase 1 - Illinois
We start the North American expansion with a conservative plan to grow across a single state with multiple brands. Creating a THG HQ in Decatur Illinois, Decatur represents a great opportunity because it is an "opportunity zone" which allows THG to secure a number of incentives from local government as well as reduce investor liabilities while we grow.
Starting with these three brands allows us to gain a foot hold in the US market place and establish THG as the Entrepreneurial Conglomerate. We will grow these brands just like we have elsewhere, via the acquisition of distressed assets in those sectors and then redeploying those assets post efficiencies to build market leaders in each industry.
Phase 1 - The MIDWEST
Once these primary brands are established (2022) We expect to bring over the remaining THG brands and have them built out starting from Illinois. Each brand will be controlled by an experienced Entrepreneur with decades of experience in their chosen industry. They will be charged with driving each brand forward across the Midwest in a manner that is perfectly suited to the Brand, all the while THG North America will be working and creating efficiencies within the shared services space. Allocating resources to the Distribution Centres and Centre of Excellence models allowing each and every brand to operate at maximum efficiency with minimal increases to OpEx.
